Our Homes

Park Homes are larger homes usually of 50 square metres (540 sq ft) or significantly more. They arrive as twin units that are bolted and sealed together on site. Many of our competitors marketing mobile and park homes in Spain will offer you a bewildering choice of manufacturers and models. Many of the makes and models on offer are totally inappropriate for the climate conditions that you will encounter in Spain particularly the heat of summer.

Situated in north east Spain, Catalonia is undoubtedly Spain's most spectacular and varied province. It is bordered by the mighty Pyrenees to the north, the Mediterranean to the east and the Ebro delta to the south. The local language Catalan, suppressed during the Franco era, is now widely spoken and celebrated throughout the area.

Renting Out

Many parks in Spain will not permit you to sublet your homes and those who do will probably demand 50% of the sublet fee. At Parkliving Spain we are of the firm opinion that this practise is both restrictive and unfair. It is your home and provided you pay your annual fee to the park you should have the right to use your home as you see fit - providing any sublets to your home adhere to the park rules and regulations. After all just a few weeks rental can pay your entire years park fee.

Buying Process

Assuming you have attended one of our inspection trips and you wish to go ahead and make a purchase of a mobile or park home the process is fairly straight forward.

 1. Choose your park. - Choose wisely as this is where you are likely to spend significant time over the coming years. It is also important to select a plot that you feel comfortable with bearing in mind important features such as size of plot, location within the park, aspect and shade/ sun etc.
 2. Choose your home - This is a highly individual choice and will depend on your budget, personal preference and requirements and plot size etc.
 3. Optional Extras -Although the home comes fully furnished with table, chairs, cooker/oven, comfortable seating, etc etc you may well want to add a few luxuries such as decking/veranda, outside leisure furniture TV/sat TV, air conditioning (where available). Kitchen utensils crockery etc are not included as they are personal choice items. Parkliving Spain is happy to arrange all your extra requirements.
 4. Once you have decided on your Park, accommodation and any extra requirements you can place your order. At the time of placing your order10% non refundable deposit is required. A further 40% is required before the home leaves the factory - usually 4 - 8 weeks after placing the order. The balance of 50% is due when your home has been delivered to the park, and has been installed and connected to services.
