When making a life changing decision such as buying a holiday home abroad it is of paramount importance to choose wisely. You will be choosing a home, a park and a location where you are likely to spend many weeks or months a year for many years to come. Get it right and your purchase will give you and your family years of pleasure and enjoyment. It follows then that the company you choose to see you through the unfamiliar buying process must have the experience and understanding of your requirements and the entire purchasing and installation process. At Parkliving Spain we believe we are uniquely placed to guide you through every aspect of your purchase and would like to introduce ourselves on a personal level.

The idea behind Parkliving Spain came from David Harvey and his Spanish partner. David has lived in Spain since 1984 and his entire career in Spain has been centred on the mobile home and camping industry. David's Spanish partner lived in England for 20 years where he was a director of a major Rolls Royce distributor. In 1999 David and his Spanish partner founded Catalunya Modulos a mobile home distributor and installation company based in Catalonia. By 2006 Catalunya Modulos was the largest distributor and installer of mobile homes in Spain, with depots in Gerona in northern Spain and Malaga in the south. They have installation teams, transporters and specialised decking teams on the road on a daily basis working on behalf of tour operators, campsites and individuals.

In 2005 David approached me, Peter Smith, with the idea of opening a UK sales office. Although Catalunya Modulos was already selling and installing mobile and park homes to British customers, David recognised the importance of a UK base to fully develop and serve British customers - hence the birth of Parkliving Spain.

My own career spans 25 years in the European mobile home industry mostly as a director of various holiday companies. Twenty of those years were spent specialising in mobile home holidays in Catalonia where I still have my own holiday home. David and I have worked together for more than 10 years. My fellow director at Park Living Spain is Sandy Butler. Sandy is an accountant and for many years specialised in the accounts of leisure companies and in particular mobile home specialists.

At Parkliving Spain we are all dedicated to a high level of personal service and customer care. Not only will our pre-sales and installation work be carried out to a very high and professional standard but on most parks - unlike other companies - we will offer a long term backup to our customers and their guests with our permanent partners in Spain.
